Red Bull X NMG X Organik

Here's our Red Bull commercial at the Hilltop pool. It took me 16 tries to surf the bodyboard across the pool and sip the Red Bull waiting on the other end.

Pillbox Hike

Brian & I did a quick hike up to the pillboxes in Lanikai. It rained most of the week so we decided to do something non beach related. We actually had clear skies with only a light drizzle. Enjoy the views.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Blu's Big Bang

Peeping this little vid is has been the best ten minutes I spent all week. This video just blows my mind every time I push play! The artist, Blu's attention to detail is amazing as well as the grand scale of his work. I admire his art and creativeness... must watch from start to finish. as the video progressively gets more and more interesting.

Beach Fossils are an exceptionally rad band from Brooklyn. Ive really been diggin their lo-fi beachy sounds. perfect soundtrack for an early morning surf check while sippin on a cup of Kona gold. give em a listen

NYE X NYC

I needed to get out NJ for New Years Eve. The celebration was spent with friends in Brooklyn and Lower East Side starting with dinner at Blue Ribbon. Following dinner, I took a cab to Against Nature atelier for a pre-party. I was in the presence of complete strangers except for the couple I was staying with. The group were complete rockers with everyone being in a band. 4 bands were present at the party and were ready to play so we all bounced to the NYE venue, Home Sweet Home. Again I stood out at the basement bar that reminded me of the punk music shows I used to go to as a kid.
