Moto/Surf 2010

This weekend was the first Moto/Surf competition in New Jersey. The surfers did great riding the track at Atco and the riders did a great job in the water. Although we could have benifited from better surf, there were good times had by all and the organizers are already planning next years event.

Check you the photos of the after party at Mud City Crab House. As the day wound down, we were even blessed with double full rainbow.

Summer Overload

I was getting calls, texts and emails from peeps about seeing me on the latest episode of Billabong Surf TV on channel OC16. I couldn't find the show, but I found a YouTube clip of the Local Motion Surf Into Summer event at Ala Moana Bowls. I got 4th place in the Industry division behind several ex-pros that I used to watch on TV as a kid.

I also found YouTube clips of the ASR fashion show from Feb 2010 featuring an Organik women's shirt of our famous Wave design.  Check our earlier posts with the video links.

We're going to NJ in less than a month for the Action Expo at Harrah's in Atlantic City on Sept 15-16. Retailers can purchase our latest designs & styles for spring/summer 2011. We will also be a vendor at the Yoga Festival By The Sea in Asbury Park NJ on Sept 18-19. NJ peeps can buy our yoga pants and tees at the event.

Hula Moon

Hula Moon Boutique in Honokaa sells womens clothing at great prices in a huge open space that used to be a garage in the 1920's. They also carry Organik mens tees in addition to our womens clothing. Honokaa is a great lil town with lots of character and history located on the NE side of the Big Island between Hilo and Waimea. Stop by when you're driving between locales and breath the fresh air.

Hawaii Fashion Forum

Honolulu fashion blogger and friend, Paula Rath, emailed me today about the write up she did with our partnership with etown studios in the Chinatown district of Honolulu. Thank you Paula for mentioning us in your blog.
P.S. We're lucky to have cool, comfy uniforms and work from home, you in your Organik yoga pants and me in boardshorts and sandy feet after a morning surf, but don't tell my wife about the sandy feet in the house or I'll be in the dog house.

3D Glasses Required!

I stumbled upon Barneys new 3D lookbook online because I was gifted a gift certificate. I showed my wife the Barneys website and lookbook last night. I said to her that I wish we some 3D glasses to check this out. Well what do you know, she busted out 2 glasses from her Coraline DVD set so we nerded out. The 3D action actually works.
