The Green Room: Fashionista's Market | Maui Westin

Fashionista's Market did it again, but this time on Maui. This designer sales event was started on Oahu by Alyssa Fung and her sister. Tons of money spending girls go to her events every month and when I was personally invited to join them on Maui who could say no. Lots of Fashionista's marketing went into planning this 1 day event with newspaper blurbs, radio ads, interviews, flyers and everything in between. Alyssa was even on Maui for 2 weeks leading up to the event on April 18, not to mention her trips to L.A. in between.
I roomed with the only guys on the trip. I was the newbie and met all new faces. Everywhere we rolled I was the new guy. The Friday night pre-party was at Lulu's in Lahaina where I got schooled at billiards by a girl from Guam. Saturday morning was crazy! The first Fashionista's Market diehard was on line at 6:30 am to claim her gift prize bag. Fashion show first, followed by shopping madness from 12 - 6 PM. Then, cleaned up got dinner and drinks with my new friends from Oahu and beach party after. Sunday included breakfest with the new friends and pool party with cocktails. After a few hours of chillaxing, I had to clean up and meet with boutiques in the afternoon..Long story short. I missed my evening flight back to Kona, but got new Organik dealers on Maui with product in stores on May 15.
